It is important that your monitor is correctly adjusted to achieve the best possible viewing quality for the images. The use of monitor calibration tools is the best way to ensure this. If you do not have a calibrated monitor, please follow the simple steps outlined below to adjust your monitor for a better viewing experience of this site. This will ensure fairly correct shadow and highlight detail for my images as viewed on your screen. Please keep in mind that these steps will not ensure fully correct color rendition and that the colors of the actual artworks may look somewhat different.
First, set your video card to 24 bit mode or higher to ensure smooth tone and color transitions. Then, set the color temperature of your monitor to 6500 K. Finally, adjust the contrast and brightness controls of your monitor until you can see seperation between all fields in the image below. A black square is located in the two darkest fields. This square should only be visible in the second darkest field.
